Many thanks to our community volunteers and sponsors!

The Civitan Club of Hendersonville: Since beginning this community service project in November 1999, the Civitans have delivered over 600 canteens to blood drives in Henderson County. Additionally, members of this civic organization post over 125 flyers advertising upcoming blood drives each month throughout the county.  This assistance allows the Henderson County Chapter of the American Red Cross more time to recruit donors and to coordinate with drive sponsors.  Thank You Civitans!

The General Federation of Women's Club - Forrest Women's Club was formed in 1956 and federated in 1957. The club members have been volunteering with the American Red Cross Bloodmobile since 1970. Forrest Women's Club is a non-profit civic organization focusing on scholarships, work with Habitat for Humanity, Mainstay, Meals on Wheels, Pardee Auxillary, and projects associated with the arts, conservation, education, home life, international affairs and public affairs. They meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month except July at the Laurel Park Town Hall.  For more information, call Phyllis Sheldon at 891-3264.

Atlanta Bread Company, Krispy Kreme and Food Lion provide refreshments for our
blood donors at the Chapter-sponsored Blood Drives every month.

Triangle Stop generously donates ice for our blood drives.

On June 23, 2011, "Operation Blood Drive" at Grace Lutheran Church, collected 358 units of blood - potentially saving over 1,000 lives!  For pictures, visit https://picasaweb.google.com/HendersonCo.ARC/2011OperationBloodDrive?feat=directlink
Thanks to everyone involved for the best Henderson County OPERATION BLOOD DRIVE yet!
