Health & Safety Training

From First Aid, CPR and AED training to swimming and lifeguarding to "Babysitting Training", American Red Cross programs help people lead safer and healthier lives.  Programs and materials are developed in collaboration with leading medical authorities.   Between July 2006 through June 2007  3,541 individuals learned lifesaving skills through classes offered by the Henderson County Chapter.

Our chapter offers regularly scheduled courses in Adult CPR/AED, Infant/Child CPR, and First Aid. Courses in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Water Safety, and Babysitting are scheduled periodically.  For Pet lovers, try our new Pet First Aid Class so you can help your pet in an emergency.  For outdoors enthusiasists, our NEW Wilderness First Aid course may be just the what you need.  Click here for a Wilderness First Aid class description.  In a time crunch, but wanting to be informed?  Try our new First Aid and CPR For Everyone class which is just an introduction to Compression-only CPR and First Aid so you don't have to be a helpless bystander.  The class is only an hour or if you want you can purchase the materials and learn at home.  For more information, call us at (828) 693-5605.  You can also see a class schedule list under the Health & Safety: Class Schedules tab on the left.

Employers, schools, organizations and groups: Could your team benefit from health and safety training?  If you have 6 or more people that could form a class, we can bring the class to you.  Please call our office at (828) 693-5605 to schedule a time for an instructor to come to your location and provide training.  You provide the participants, the space for class, a TV/DVD player and we bring the rest.  Health and Safety Training- To Go!  Call today for more information or to schedule your training!
