  • BLENDED LEARNING classes (self-directed, on-line training with hands-on skill review scheduled afterwards) for First Aid and CPR . Sign up, date and time listed are for skill session. All class work must be completed and certificate showing you completed coursework must be presented to instructor before skill session starts.
  • Explore our new “Compression Only Citizen CPR” class, a non certification, basic CPR skills session taught in one half hour for only $5. Offered during lunch hour on the first Tuesday each month (except September). We’ll also schedule a group session for 8 or more at your convenience (churches, civic groups, clubs, etc.) of our half hour “Compression-Only Citizen CPR”
  • We believe that the cost of a class should never keep anyone from learning lifesaving skills so we have made FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE available. Click here to get a need-based financial assistance application. Or go to Health and Safety General Information page to read about this program.
  • For your convenience, we are offering some classes in other COMMUNITY LOCATIONS. Look for classes in your neighborhood thanks to our partners; the Lelia Patterson Center in Fletcher, Opportunity House in Hendersonville, and the Pardee Health Education Center (at Four Seasons Mall, Hendersonville) for hosting off-site classes. Please let us know if these locations are helpful.
  • SPANISH LANGUAGE CLASSES! We are proud to offer life saving skills classes in Spanish. Call us to schedule a class at your location or here at the Chapter office. Humberto Camacho, our Spanish language instructor, is excited about these classes, so pass the word. All instruction, materials and tests are in Spanish. Bienvenido!
  • WATER SAFETY CLASSES: Through a partnership with the City of Hendersonville and the Patton Pool, the YMCA in Hendersonville and the Leila Patterson Center in Fletcher, we are able to offer Red Cross swimming, lifeguarding, and WSI (water safety instructor) training to the community throughout the summer swimming season. Watch the City website at: www.cityofhendersonville.org, call Patton Pool at 698-3084, call Leila Patterson Center at 654-0004, contact the YMCA at 692-5774 or contact our office for more information.
